Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Endoscopy to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care in the endoscopy unit, including circulating and assisting with general gastrointestinal procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotations with availability 2-3 weekdays per month and 1 weekend per month.
  • Prepare and recover patients undergoing endoscopic and bronchoscopy procedures.
  • Utilize scopes and Medivators while ensuring proper specimen handling and labeling.
  • Assist with advanced procedures in the OR as required and ensure timely response to call requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an endoscopy setting preferred.
  • Valid NC or compact state RN license must be in hand prior to starting.
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS.
  • Experience with airway management, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.
  • Ability to manage and respond to emergent situations independently.
  • Preferred experience in community and/or Trauma Level II hospitals.
