Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures such as total joints, general surgery, spine, uro, and open heart cases.
Ensure patient safety and adherence to facility protocols during surgical operations.
Coordinate with a team of specialty leads and house supervisors to optimize patient outcomes.
Participate in on-call rotations up to 50% of the time, including nights and weekends.
Utilize the Cerner EMR system for accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.
Provide assistance in auxiliary departments when required, ensuring efficient hospital operations.

Qualifications

Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Minimum of 1 year full-time experience in an acute surgery setting.
Proven ability to work in both OR and CVOR environments.
Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system.
Availability for 30-minute response time for on-call duties.
Ability to contribute effectively in a team-oriented environment.
