Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal intensive care patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Respond to emergency situations, including codes, rapid response, and trauma cases.
• Perform aerosol medication administration and manage patient ventilation needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including participation in clinical rounds.
• Document patient care and treatments utilizing the Epic charting system.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, preferably in a NICU setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Experience with trauma level I or II preferred.
• Proficiency in mechanical ventilation weaning and management.
