Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6, providing specialized care for a diverse patient population.
• Administer medications and titrate drips such as Cardizem, amiodarone, and heparin per ordered parameters.
• Provide care for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, CAD, NSTEMI, and post-operative conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including house supervisors, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and adhere to dress code requirements.
• Utilize Allscripts charting system effectively to document patient care and treatments.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with the ability to submit documentation promptly.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with epicardial pacing and managing chest tubes.
• Ability to float between units as required and adjust to rotating shift schedules.
• Experienced in using tele monitors and working collaboratively with monitor techs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a self-scheduling environment.
