Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and vascular studies including abdominal aorta, arterial graft studies, and carotid Doppler studies.
• Independently manage workload and complete examinations on adult patients in outpatient settings.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while ensuring quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Float to different outpatient centers including Eden, Burlington, Magnolia, MC HP, and DB as needed.
• Effectively use PACS and communicate results within Philips and Epic systems.
• Ensure compliance with all clinical and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in echo and vascular sonography; no first-time travelers.
• Registered by ARDMS or CCI with credentials RDCS and RVT or RCS and RVS required.
• Experience with Epic EMR systems is essential.
• Able to perform a variety of examinations, including lower and upper extremity arterial and venous Doppler studies.
• Flexibility to cover variable shifts between 7a-5p in an outpatient setting.
• Vaccination for COVID-19 and flu, with exemptions on medical or religious grounds only.
