Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in a high-acuity, high-paced maternity setting.
• Act as a Baby Nurse during deliveries, ensuring continued newborn care post-delivery.
• Administer medications, including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address the complex health needs of patients.
• Float between Postpartum, Antepartum, and sister facilities as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient medical records using the EPIC system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, with high-risk environment exposure.
• Active compact nursing license accepted across Swedish facilities.
• Advanced certifications in BLS and NRP required; ACLS and AWHONN preferred.
• Proficient in circulating C-sections and newborn assessments.
• Ability to provide supervisory references and verification of NURSYS credentials.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring system.
