Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Mammography Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and diagnostic mammography exams with attention to quality and detail.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during mammography procedures.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment effectively.
- Document patient information accurately using Epic.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging results.
- Follow established protocols and safety standards in radiology operations.
Qualifications
- Valid ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and current BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in Mammography.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Proficient in performing 3-D and digital mammography.
- Ability to perform fine needle aspirations and stereotactic biopsy preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within interdisciplinary teams.
