Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Stepdown/Med Surg unit.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor recovery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and titrate drips, including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including house supervisors and nurse aides, to manage patient care.
• Utilize RT equipment, such as CPAP, BiPap, and high flow oxygen devices, effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and ability to submit upon request.
• Valid driver’s license is required at submission.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA) are mandatory.
• Experience in stepdown nursing and titration of medications.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Available to work three weekend shifts every four weeks and rotate holiday shifts.
