Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy for patients with cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, ICU, neuro, and med-surgical conditions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Manage patient care during 10-hour shifts, ensuring proper documentation in Cerner EMR system.
• Educate patients and families on therapy procedures and home exercises.
• Adapt to work every third weekend, as required by the established schedule.
• Complete an 8-hour orientation program specific to the facility's modalities.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• Possess valid California physical therapy license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy specialty.
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Willing to rotate holidays with permanent staff.
• Compliance with the hospital's scrub color policy for attire.
