Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Observation Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Observation Unit, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
• Float between units as needed while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
• Manage patient assignments with a ratio of 1:4, ensuring detailed assessments and monitoring.
• Administer cardiac drips and provide post-cardiac catheterization care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in tracheostomy and ventilator management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Texas or compact multistate license.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an IMCU/Step Down unit preferred.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS required; CPI and NIHSS preferred.
• Previous experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Proficient in cardiac telemetry and care of ventilated patients.
• Required experience in a Level II Trauma Center.
