Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a psychiatric unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for both adolescent and adult patient populations.
- Maintain patient safety through effective de-escalation techniques and communication.
- Coordinate with mental health technicians and interdisciplinary teams for integrated care.
- Participate in conducting 15-minute rounds and engaging actively in patient care.
- Facilitate patient admissions and discharges in accordance with unit protocols.
- Adhere to facility standards and implement mechanical restraints only as necessary.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in North Dakota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Workplace Violence Prevention training required.
- Experience in acute/inpatient psychiatric settings preferred.
- Demonstrated strong communication and de-escalation skills.
- Adept at working with both adolescent and adult psychiatric populations.
- Flexibility to float and provide assistance throughout the hospital as needed.
