Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to individuals in a high acuity stepdown unit.
Monitor and interpret telemetry data, administering medications as necessary.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to perform emergent cardioversion and other necessary procedures.
Conduct physical assessments, intake, and output every 4 hours, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
Participate in mandatory bedside handoff and hourly safety rounds.
Assist in maintaining a positive team environment with a focus on adaptability to changing patient acuity levels.

Qualifications

Current AK RN license upon application; temporary licensing is not accepted.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in step-down ICU/IMC/PCU settings.
Proficiency in telemetry/cardiac monitoring.
Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH-SS required.
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Flexibility and ability to manage high patient acuity and throughput efficiently.
