Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy services to patients, evaluating communication and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records using EPIC.
- Conduct assessments for patients with neuro, critical care, and trauma diagnoses.
- Cover acute care areas as required, ensuring qualified patient management.
- Meet department requirements for weekend and orientation scheduling.
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Speech Language Pathology license.
- Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 7-8 patients per 8-hour day.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
