Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to assess heart function and structures.
Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing process.
Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
Start IVs for contrast studies as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with healthcare team to discuss findings and plan patient care.

Qualifications

Current certification as an Echocardiography Technologist (ARDMS or CCI).
Minimum 1 year of experience in echocardiography.
Proficient in adult acute care and outpatient cardiac sonography techniques.
Experience with 2-D and 3-D Echo, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and stress echo procedures.
Familiarity with major equipment brands such as GE, Philips, and Siemens.
Proficiency with EPIC charting system preferred.
