Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory care in the NICU setting, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Administer and manage complex ventilation therapies, including Nitric Oxide and Jet ventilation.
- Function as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.
- Float between internal departments as required, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the Epic charting system.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current WA state licensure and RRT credential required upon submission.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting, with Level 3 experience preferred.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, or ENPC required.
- Experience with high frequency and oscillating ventilators preferred.
- Proven competency in managing neonatal respiratory emergencies and interventions.
- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic charting systems required.
