Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy to pediatric and adult patients in NICU and other assigned units.
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilation equipment effectively.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor progress, ensuring timely intervention and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to develop and modify patient treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with NICU-specific protocols and procedures, maintaining a high standard of patient care.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families about respiratory care procedures and equipment.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CRT required; RRT preferred with at least one year in a Level 1 Trauma setting.
• Minimum of three years of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• EPIC charting experience is highly regarded.
• Experience in a large academic medical center is preferred.
• 100% nicotine-free compliance is mandatory for employment.
