Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Electrophysiology (EP) Nurse to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Electrophysiology Lab, performing complex procedures such as cardiac ablations and pacemaker insertions.
• Administer and monitor patients on antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.
• Operate EPIC charting system efficiently, ensuring accurate patient documentation and records management.
• Educate patients on procedure details, lifestyle changes, and medication adherence to optimize recovery and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety and care standards.
• Maintain required RN licensure, BLS certification, and ensure compliance with all local and national healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• RN license required; compact state licensure accepted where applicable.
• At least 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology Lab required.
• Experience with cardiac procedures such as cardioversion, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system highly preferred.
• BLS certification required; strong emphasis on patient safety and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to educate patients effectively, focusing on lifestyle and medication adherence for optimal health outcomes.
