Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to NICU patients in compliance with best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling and unit float requirements while ensuring consistent quality care.
- Operate and manage high-frequency ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment effectively.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment working with interdisciplinary teams.
- Accurately document patient interventions and progress in the Epic charting system.
- Assess and respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions and care.
Qualifications
- Current WA license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a NICU setting with preferred trauma center exposure.
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required.
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and CRT/RRT necessary.
- Experience in advanced respiratory therapies such as BiPAP and CPAP.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and emergency response protocols.
