Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cardiology Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab, with a focus on cardiac procedures.
• Scrub for PCI/STEMI and peripheral cases, ensuring adherence to safety and sterility standards.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
• Manage call responsibilities, averaging 12 days per month, including weekends and holidays.
• Handle 8 cases on average per day, utilizing Cerner EMR for documentation.
• Participate in the orientation process, adapting to different skill levels and ensuring readiness for all case types.

Qualifications

• 2 years of cath lab experience required.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes required.
• Must be able to scrub both cardiac and peripheral cases.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and patient care.
