Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cardiology Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub duties for PCI/STEMI cases, ensuring adherence to sterile procedures.
• Support cardiologists in a cath lab environment with daily average of 8 cases.
• Rotate on-call duties, including weekends and holidays, with a 30-minute response time.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and efficient charting.
• Coordinate with charge nurse and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient flow.
• Engage in floor-specific orientation based on skill level, typically 1-2 shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required.
• Proficiency in cardiac and peripheral case scrubbing is essential.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Ability to comply with call requirements, averaging 12 days per month.
