Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in adult, adult ICU, and general pediatric settings.
• Administer therapies and monitor patient responses under the supervision of medical staff.
• Document all therapy sessions and changes in patient conditions accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient respiratory health.
• Maintain schedule flexibility and work weekends as needed.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, including those concerning documentation of work history and specialty experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) not accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pertinent respiratory care areas is required.
• Advanced certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital environment is required.
• Experience with Epic EMR within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
• Strong documentation skills with thorough employment history required, including facility details and specialties handled.
