Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum care.
• Administer and titrate medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia as required by patient condition.
• Adhere to infection control policies, including the prohibition of artificial nails in patient care areas.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and coordinate care with the charge nurse during shifts.
• Pass required nursing skills exam with a score of at least 90% during orientation.
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and comply with facility weekend and holiday scheduling requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license and eligible to work in Nebraska.
• Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience in an acute care setting.
• Current certifications in BLS and NRP.
• Strong knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios in labor and delivery units.
• Ability to work night shifts and rotate every other weekend as needed.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
