Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, L&D to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist with labor and delivery, ensuring best practices for mother and newborn care.
- Perform patient assessments, monitoring vital signs and fetal heart rates.
- Collaborate with healthcare team professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage postpartum care and provide discharge education to parents.
- Float between high-risk and L&D units as needed, maintaining quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
- Active NC or Compact nursing license in hand.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
- Experience with EPIC charting system.
- Ability to work every other weekend with open availability for scheduling.
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred; travel experience required.
