Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from newborn to geriatric.
• Utilize the ESI triage scale to prioritize patient care effectively.
• Perform nursing procedures such as IV insertion, EKGs, and drips/infusions administration.
• Assist in the stabilization and transport of trauma, stroke, and STEMI patients needing higher level care.
• Collaborate with emergency department staff including RNs, ED techs, and mid-level providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic system.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in an emergency room setting.
• Prior travel nursing experience required; completion of at least one travel contract.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS/ENPC, NRP, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Recent experience with Epic documentation within the last 2 years.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
