Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, ER to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a 10-14 bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Conduct ESI triage, start IVs, manage drips/infusions, and perform EKGs.
• Implement procedural sedation and manage ambulance transports as needed.
• Support and stabilize STEMI, stroke, and trauma patients for transport to higher care facilities.
• Utilize telemedicine and tele-stroke consultations to enhance patient care.
• Work collaboratively with a team of 3-4 RNs, ED tech, and other healthcare providers per shift.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and evidence of TNCC, ENPC or NIHSS required.
• Previous travel nursing experience with at least one completed contract.
• Familiarity with Epic documentation and Pyxis medication systems.
• Preferably possess charge nurse experience and ability to precept new nurses.
• Must be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holiday rotations.
