Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Tech - General to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound scans with efficiency in OB/GYN and early dating OB scans, including maternal fetal medicine.
- Perform detailed scans on up to 8 patients a day, adjusting for cases of multiples.
- Maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams within a Level 1 trauma center setting.
- Operate under facility policies to manage patient data and scan results using EPIC EMR.
- Provide care according to tiered mileage-based rates and flexible scheduling for holiday coverage.
- Support weekend shifts on an as-needed basis for comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- ARDMS registered with OB/GYN credential.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in ultrasound technology.
- Experience in large, teaching hospital environments.
- Competence in fetal anatomy scans, including BPP, UMB, and MCA dopplers.
- Required EPIC experience from within the past 2 years.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
