Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for pregnant women in labor and delivery, including high-risk deliveries.
• Monitor vital signs and fetal heart rates, and manage pain relief for patients.
• Assist physicians during cesarean sections and other childbirth-related procedures.
• Administer medications, including magnesium sulfate therapy and oxytocin.
• Perform postpartum care and assess maternal and neonatal health conditions.
• Float to postpartum units as needed to provide additional support.

Qualifications

• Valid NC or compact RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current AWHONN Intermediate, NRP, and BLS certifications.
• Experience with Centricity charting system preferred.
• Capability to manage pre-eclampsia, GDM, and other pregnancy-related conditions.
• Previous travel experience required; no first-time travelers will be considered.
