Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiology/Imaging - Mammography Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
• Review and assess images for diagnostic purposes and refer for further consultation as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the Cerner charting system.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure patient safety and service efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure to practice as a Mammography Technologist.
• Strong understanding of radiology practices and protocols within an acute care setting.
• Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred.
• Willingness to accommodate hospital shift cancellation policies.
