Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technician to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Analyze and interpret imaging results in collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging findings in the electronic health record system.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff from undue radiation exposure.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new imaging procedures and quality control programs.

Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technician license in the state of California.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience with Cerner charting systems preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexible and reliable with the ability to work assigned schedule.
