Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrubbing duties for cardiac and peripheral cases in the Cath Lab.
• Manage daily average of 8 cases effectively ensuring patient safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including charge nurses and cardiologists, to facilitate smooth operations.
• Adhere to call requirements, including availability for 12 days per month with a 30-minute response time.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for efficient charting and documentation.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures performed in the Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is mandatory.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Demonstrated ability to scrub for PCI and STEMI cases is essential.
• Experience with Cerner charting systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of cardiac and peripheral procedures with the ability to respond to call duties.
