Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technician to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging.
- Operate gamma cameras and other imaging equipment safely.
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Provide high-quality patient care while following physician orders.
- Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT (N) or CNMT (NMTCB) certification required.
- Experience in clinical nuclear medicine and PET/CT preferred.
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation and dosing.
- Ability to perform IV administration.
- Alternate staffing schedule allowing for flexibility.
- AHA Certifications required; RQI not accepted.
