Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled nuclear medicine procedures with precision and adherence to protocols.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient responses, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Handle multiple types of nuclear scans, including stress tests and basic studies.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures and equipment use in line with regulatory standards.
• Adjust techniques and equipment settings to enhance imaging quality based on examination requirements.
• Participate in evening and weekend call duties, providing coverage with peer technologists.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and California State License required.
• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB necessary for the role.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in nuclear medicine technology.
• Proficient in performing a variety of scans, including cardiac stress testing and brain scans.
• Knowledgeable in Epic charting system with preferred experience.
• Capability to work well in a fast-paced, acute care hospital environment.
