Specialty: RN – CSICU
Experience: 1+ year of recent post-cardiac surgery ICU experience required
License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS & ACLS – AHA
Must-Have: Experience with open-heart surgery recovery, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation
Description: The CSICU RN provides specialized post-operative care to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries such as CABG, valve replacements, and heart transplants. Responsibilities include managing ventilators, chest tubes, vasoactive drips, and close monitoring of hemodynamic status in collaboration with cardiac surgeons and intensivists.
