About the Position
Specialty: RN – Neuro
Experience: 1–2+ years of experience in neurology, neuro ICU, or neuro step-down unit preferred
License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS – AHA required, ACLS preferred
Must-Have: Strong neuro assessment skills, experience with stroke protocols, seizure precautions, and neuro monitoring tools
Description: The Neuro RN provides comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries, seizures, and spinal cord injuries. This role involves frequent neuro checks, monitoring for changes in mental status, managing specialized equipment, and collaborating with neurology and neurosurgical teams.
