About the Position
Specialty: Endoscopy Technician
Experience: 1+ year of experience in endoscopy or GI lab preferred
Certifications: BLS required; GI Technician Certification (CGRN) preferred
Must-Have: Knowledge of endoscopic equipment, decontamination procedures, and sterile techniques
Description: The Endoscopy Tech assists with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and decontaminating scopes and instruments. This role is vital for maintaining procedure room readiness and infection control standards.
