Thyroid storm/myxedema coma with hemodynamic instability.Drug Ingestion and Overdose: Drug ingestion with hemodynamic instability, coma, inadequate airway protection, or uncontrolled seizures. Drug withdrawal requiring critical care intervention.Severe Sepsis: Two or more systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) symptoms including temperature greater than 100.4 or less than 96.8, heart rate greater than 90, respirations greater than 20, WBC less than 4000 or greater than 12,000, WBC greater than 10% bands, and confirmed or suspected infection and signs of organ damage. Lactate greater than 2.Shock: Any severe sepsis symptom plus persistent hypotension and lactate greater than 4. Contractors are expected to fulfill the terms of their signed agreement in full. Mid-contract cancellations for the purpose of booking a different BJC assignment are not allowed.
