EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.2 years of recent CVICU experience is required.Our Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) is a four 4-bed unit that directs its resources principally towards the care of adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic,vascular and other surgical conditions requiring critical care located on 4 North.The care of these patients is primarily focused on post-operative recovery and providing complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring.Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency.CSU is an 8 bed stepdown unit. The stepdown unit focuses on the care and recovery of patients after cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery.Both units are supported by a cardiovascular educator.
