The OT's in the department are required to be able to evaluate and treat all areas in the hospital including Acute, Medical, ICU and in the Inpatient Rehab Unit (for treatments). Patient diagnoses include multi-trauma, TII, SCI, CVA, surgical, orthopedic,Parkinson's MS, etc. We are a regional hospital so a little bit of a lot of diagnoses. Evaluations are typically followed either OT or COTA follow up for treatments. Frequency is dependent on patient need Special Procedures/Unit Details : Required- Acute Disorder- Assessment - Chronic Disorder - Functional Activities Additional requirements - Must be flexible to go between all work areas, work as a team member, expected to pick up extra patients if patients come off of their initial schedules in order to reach or exceed productivity standardAdditional preferences - Be friendly and outgoing. Our team is fun and close, want someone to fit in! Thanks Special Equipment : Need to have experience in acute care setting. We are a small rural hospital that has an ICU, Medical, Surgery and in-house 8 bed Inpatient Rehab Facility. We occasionally see patients in same day surgery and in the Emergency Department. We need someone who is independent, hard worker and does well with time management. Do not redirect or decline therapy travelers unless submitted to wrong discipline please screen for any missing skills or exp #Tier3 Travel Compliance Compliance document deadline is Monday prior to start. Last four of SSN RTO must be listed at time of submittal, post submission RTO will NOT be approved MUST request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR. Max of one job per submittal Valid WA or Compact RN license (required at time of submission) Valid Allied license in hand (please ask AM if unsure) 50 mile local radius, Locals are accepted at a lower rate **All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility** Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler Must include response to the following from the candidate with submission: Have you ever worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem? If yes, please include location and dates worked. References Required: 2 References covering 1 year (6 months for CNA s) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead No Call-In: Candidates should Not reach out to facility contacts directly unless it is for an agreed-upon interview that has been communicated by AM or PM Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent.
