NEED: RN Med/Surg tele - Surgical Unit LOCATION: Riverside Methodist Hospital SHIFT: 3x12's, Night Shift, every other weekend, every other holiday. BLS Must be able to read & interpret Telemetry independently. Pertinent Unit Info: 1:5-6 nurse patient ratio. Care for a lot of post op GI patients. Acute care interventional telemetry medical surgical unit, 30 private/semi private beds, acuity ranges from moderate to high, post op checks, navy blue scrubs, No ventilated patients. Heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, ketamine drips are common. Can have PCA, epidurals, foleys, drains.
