Assignment can be 40 hours if RN would like full-time hours.Skills Requirements: circulating experience in the OR setting, FHM. IV Start. Triage and Scrub skills a plus.Unit Description: Low-risk and high-risk obstetrics. 14 L&D beds, 6 triage beds, 2 operating rooms, 2 recovery beds, 2 high-risk antepartum. L&D is a regional tertiary care unit supporting local obstetric needs and serving as a receiving port from outlying hospitals. Nurses team with midwives and physicians to maximize the childbirth experience for women seeking minimal intervention, as well as those with major complicationsExperience Required: 2 yearsFirst-timers accepted: Dependent upon # of years experienceWeekend REQ: every other weekendCerts REQ: BLS, ACLS, NRPNO BLOCKED SCHEDULE REQUESTSFacility utilizes: Cerner (experience required), Surginet and Fetallink documentationLocals accepted: no; What is the local radius rule? 100 mile radius (able to request exceptions for 75-99 miles on a case by case basis)Pending State License accepted: yesScrub Color: Royal BlueSubmission Requirements:Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked permFlu Shot: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF.
