RTO needs approval from the manager at time of offer. No additional requests will be accepted mid-contract. RTO cannot be within the first two weeks of start Locals: Accepted and have the same rates as Travel Charting: Epic; refer to UD on whether required or preferred Certs: BSN required for all RN positions; CA license in hand required for all RN positions Return Staff: ANY employment with any University of California medical facility and any of their acquired facilities MUST be included with employment history. Must provide dates worked, units worked, manager name/s upon submittal for a rehire eligibility check with HR References: 2 references from most recent employer needed at time of submittal Travel Pairs: Allowed but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit Floating: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite job specifications Teaching Hospital Experience: Required Modules : Modules are non-billable and included in NBO hours. Modules vary by unit/specialty/position and can range between 1 hour to 24 hours. Anything over 24 hours is billable. Modules are completed pre-start and annually. Start Date : Travelers with a Monday start date in allied fields or outpatient/ambulatory positions may start sooner if they are cleared to start sooner than the Wednesday before the original start date. Travelers booked for Tuesday start dates in a nursing/inpatient nursing position may not start sooner than what was booked. If traveler is cleared to start sooner than the Wednesday before the start, traveler s start date may only be moved up with permission of PM. Orientation registration is 4:00pmPST on the Monday the week before the Tuesday start date. Failure to email PM and obtain approval to start sooner before the deadline will result in start date remaining as is.
