The RTO will be need worked out between traveler and manager, CDM will have no involvement as the dates are not allowed in the contracts. Mile Radius Rule Applies 100 MILE RADIUS: BayCare has a 100-mile radius rule in effect. The traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility they are applying for. If they live within 100 miles from the facility, they may not be qualified. Local Rules see 100-mile radius rule, certain allied specialties exempt Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals nearby Travelers may float within hospital. Specific Charting Exp. Cerner Charting experience preferred. Return Staff Policy- Permanent employees must wait at least 1 year before returning to any Baycare facility as a traveler. At this time BayCare is only allowing return travelers to apply to their new positions in the following specialties for all facilities: ICU, MICU, CVICU, ED, PCU, and MS/Tele. Travelers must have completed a contract within the last year since 7/1/2022. SMOKE FREE FACILITY Compliance Docs due two Fridays before the Monday start (10 days before start). Pass/Fail EKG exam (3 attempts) Modules: Modules are billable up to 8 hours for RN and 4 hours for Allied.
