If their shift is extended due to census or a case running over, they will be paid at their regular rate until they go into overtime. They should not be clocking out and back in for any shifts that run over or are extended.Please be aware that travelers are not paid the same as Core staff members at Nebraska Medicine as Core staff are incentivized differently. The Core Staff policy does not apply to travelers and travelers will only be paid call-back when placed on-call after their shift has ended; they have left the facility, and are called-back. If they have questions while on assignment, please direct them to their agency to discuss their pay.
