Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model is utilized on this unit. For every patient there is 1 bedside RN, a Virtual RN, and 1 CNA. Beside RN 1:4CNA patient ratios are 1:6The virtual nurse works remotely and assists patient with admission, discharge, rounding, education, plans of care, and safety rounds.Must has AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer.30% of patient population are cardiac in nature. CHF, MI, S/p TAVR, MVR patients, Pacemaker patients, Cardiac arrythmia patients, Drug load patients, Angiovac, ACS patients, etc.Respiratory patients including COVID, FLU, COPD and Asthma exacerbations, Trach patients (>24h since placement), chronic home ventilators. Able to do high flow NC and BIPAP.Overflow for Neuro patients, Renal patients.Complicated medical surgical patients requiring higher level of monitoring.
