Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model is utilized on this unit. For every patient there is 1 bedside RN, a Virtual RN, and 1 CNA. Beside RN 1:4CNA patient ratios are 1:6The virtual nurse works remotely and assists patient with admission, discharge, rounding, education, plans of care, and safety rounds.Must has AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer.30% of patient population are cardiac in nature. CHF, MI, S/p TAVR, MVR patients, Pacemaker patients, Cardiac arrythmia patients, Drug load patients, Angiovac, ACS patients, etc.Respiratory patients including COVID, FLU, COPD and Asthma exacerbations, Trach patients (>24h since placement), chronic home ventilators. Able to do high flow NC and BIPAP.Overflow for Neuro patients, Renal patients.Complicated medical surgical patients requiring higher level of monitoring. (Epic) Return Staff Policy: Permanent staff must be separated from Providence for a minimum of 3 months to return as a traveler. Travelers can only work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in their assignment. Travelers are then required to take a minimum of a 6-month break before returning for another traveler assignment at the same facility. Providers will be responsible for submitting monthly cell phone bill directly to Agency. Housing: Please have your traveler look into housing options in the area, as options may be limited Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent.
