Provide compassionate care to both adult and pediatric patients who may have chemical, electrical, scald or thermal burns and/or complex wounds in the critical care setting. Be part of a Level One Trauma Center and Wisconsin s only ACS-verified Adult and Pediatric Burn Center! Only verified pediatric and adult burn center in state of Wisconsin. Travelers may be assigned to burn patients, but would not be asked to perform burn cares. Special Equipment : ICU experience required. No burn experience necessary. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. #Tier3 Travel Compliance Floating : Travelers are required to float as needed. Local Rule : 50 miles from the facility. Locals not accepted. Minimum experience : Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to . References : please remove all references. Pass /Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria. A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts: Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3 rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts the assignment will be cancelled.
