The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit. Miami Valley Hospital (level 1 Trauma Center)Must have the following requirements:*Must pass an online EKG competency course*BLS required*NIH required* EPIC experience required1.5 years exp in a level 1 or 2 preferredFloating and Other Requirements: Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID. If assigned to MVH, this could include floating main campus (Dayton) south campus (Centerville) less than 10 miles from Main Campus and North Campus (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus. Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine. Also, provide care to any med surg patient/overflow. Navy Blue ScrubsRTORequest RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion. Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application. Pre and post inpatient surgical care provided by nursing, including heart monitors, drains, PCAs and Ketamine drips. We do require that candidates are either NIH stroke certified upon contract start or are willing to complete the NIH stroke healthstream along with onboarding Healthstreams. Special Equipment : We do have a Sara Steady to assist with mobilization of patients. We do utilize CADD pumps for ketamine infusion post spine surgery. #Tier1 Travel Compliance Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract.
