ID: 63844102 Shift: Monday-Friday 0630-1500 Description: POSITION OVERVIEWThe Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist performs all routine magnetic procedures, plus, with assistance, performs difficult and complex radiographic procedures. He/she is required to perform related duties in the office area. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) OR ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)ACCOUNTABILITYAccountable to: Diagnostic Imaging DirectorPOSITION REQUIREMENTS1. Registry passed ARRT or Registry Eligible graduate2. Registry passed ARRT (MR) or Registry eligible to take and pass ARRT (MR) within 6 months of hire date.3. Possess current Washington State RT license4. Basic Life Support certification (BLS)5. Has taken and passed cross-sectional anatomy6. Ability to lift forty (40) pounds from floor to waist7. Ability to move forty (40) pounds six feet8. Ability to reach overhead holding twenty-five (25) pounds9. Ability to lift forty (40) pounds from wheelchair to bed level10. Ability to pull forty (40) pounds from stretcher to bed11. Ability to push 200 pound loaded stretcher 300 feet12. Requires good stamina with flexibility and good manual dexterity13. Demonstrates accurate judgment/decision-making ability consistent with radiology knowledge and skills14. Provides quality customer service and patient care using the standard radiology technology in accordance with established hospital policy/procedures Additional Information:Additional Housing: Econolodge, Hoquiam WA 98550 $50 per night or furnished studio apartments available for long term assignments at a great rate.
