ID: 63879068 Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00) Description: UNIT DETAILS: We are a high volume structural echo lab. We perform TEE, stress echo, and complete TTE with use of Lumason contrast, 3D and Strain on inpatient, ICU patients, and outpatients. We cover holidays as well. Our Sonographers have a great rapport with our cardiologists and enter preliminary reports. We support the organ recovery center (ORC), the largest organ recovery center in the southeast and Shepherds Spine Center. We perform a substantial amount of structural echos including TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, ASD closures and scan patients with devices such as LVAD, Impella and ECMO.SCHEDULE: FRIDAY-MONDAYCALL: 1 week of call twice during 13-week contractFLOATING: Within facility/scope of practice as neededMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years - Unit accepts first time travelersCLINICAL SCREEN: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.RTO: MAX 7 days HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays.
