General Information Unit Specifics: Patient Ratios: Approx. 20-30 patient procedures per RCP/ 12 hr shift Type of equipment: Servo I, Servo U, 980 vents, Radiometer ABL90 ABG analyzers, V60 & Hamilton C1 BiPAP, Resmed Aircurve 10 home CPAP Documentation system: Meditech Expanse Scheduling requirements: 3 12 hour shifts per week, days or nights per staffing needs. Extra shifts/OT may be available. Floating policy: Can work all areas, but not charge duty Patient Experience requirements: 2 years, Full time critical care adults, NICU preferred Hospital Specifics- Adult ICU (24 bed), Newly implemented CVICU (4 bed), PCU, Cath Lab, NICU (24 bed), Trauma, Medical floors Certifications: CAP & JCAHO accredited ABG Lab Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: Ventilator management experience, emergency airway care, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow, standard aerosolized medication knowledge, arterial punctures, A-lines, able to work well in small team setting, must be flexible with assignments, 12 lead EKG, and compassionate focus on patient care. Advanced skills preferred: HFOV, care of patients in NICU, experience with trauma. Procedures performed on unit: Per above Certifications Required: State of Virginia license, RRT preferred, CRT accepted. Required: ACLS, NRP and PALS Dress Code: Caribbean blue scrubs.
