RTO must be finalized before the interview. No RTO negotiations will be accepted after the interview. Candidates must meet the minimum experience requirement for the unit. Required experience ranges from 1 3 years, depending on the specialty. Submission Rules : UC Davis typically schedules start dates approximately 3 weeks from offer to allow adequate time for compliance. Parking costs are not included in the pay package and should be discussed with the traveler. Start / Facility Instructions : Compliance Requirements Compliance documents are due by the Wednesday prior to the start date. Candidates must actively complete all compliance requirements after booking, including: Signing two required documents within 48 hours of contract acceptance. Completing all required compliance items by the facility deadline. Candidates who fail to meet compliance deadlines risk a start date delay or contract cancellation. If compliance is completed early, the facility may consider moving the candidate to an earlier start date. Orientation Modules Modules are assigned after the candidate activates their UC Davis account. Modules must be completed prior to the start date. Exceptions are rare and granted only under limited circumstances. Module time is non-billable. Average module completion time is 20 30 hours. Recruiters should account for these hours when building the pay package. Module completion is tracked by the facility. Travelers must also record all module hours on a paper timecard.
