Number of Beds 6 Exam Rooms Number of Staff 5 Nurses Type of staff: Day Shift 6 radiation therapists, 2 admin assistants, 1 manager, 1 director, 5 nurses (including GK nurse), 2-3 physicists, 2-3 MDs Night Shift Closed Patient Ratios -Typical day, RN will have 5-10 patients in clinic throughout the day. - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed Type of equipment Electronic documentation EMR Meditech and Varian ARIA Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current Oncology RN acute care experience BLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Radiation Oncology Experience Prior ARIA experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Patient care, symptom management and education of patients on radiation therapy Radiation side effects such as skin changes and fatigue Best personality Fit: Compassionate, our patients are battling cancer.
